  • Page 1 : It’s night time. A tall Lichen creature is taking steps towards a giant round cactus edifice with difficulty, as if wounded. Its hair is formed of long rigid upward spikes, and its skin is very dry. It stops in front of the cacti structure and knocks politely then bangs its hand loudly against the hard surface.
  • Page 2: Something like a hole opening appears on the surface and from it a Cacti butch with a dark buzzcut appears, asking : « Who is it ? ». The Lichen in its despair bangs its fist against the surface again, we don’t see its face, hidden in the dark. With a feeble voice it murmurs : « G-od… Came to—… »A close up on its bulging eyes show us the cacti fully opening the mausoleum’s door. « See— GOD… », the creature repeats before falling forward, its weight no longer supported by the

The two figures are walking towards the central tree, the Lichen supporting itself by slinging an arm over the Cacti’s left shoulder, while it is supported by the waist with the Cacti’s right arm. It thanks the Saintess while the latter helps the staggering Lichen against the solid trunk of a tree. The Saintess asks of It to stay put then her sharp gaze finds a raw...
  • Page 4: There is a brief series of flashbacks in which the Cacti remembers figures similar as the Lichen. An army of them walking holding the same gouvernement flag, adorned with the same cross motif as the Lichen. We see a younger version of the Saintess being captured then put in a cage, surrounded by similar Lichen figures, all wearing the same criss-cross scar. In reaction to the memory, she pushes the Lichen against the tree trunk and threatens it with the thorns on her arm, sharp and ready...
